Consciously Navigating Sudden Change

When change occurs suddenly and unexpectedly it can be hard to navigate the aftermath. It's like an explosion, at first there is a lot of confusion, no time to really reflect, just gotta K E E P   M O V I N G.  Then, there comes the dawning of the realization that nothing is ever going to be the same again. Then, come all the feelings attached to that thought.

Many of us don't realize at this juncture that we can choose how to respond to all those feelings. A majority of people feel overwhelmed and overrun by their emotions and respond in unskillful ways, such as bottling them. The trouble with suppressing these feelings, or avoiding them, is that they eventually find a way to the surface. When the do surface it's usually painful and sometimes even traumatic.

If you want to find a different way of dealing with all the emotions that come tangled up with drastic change, consider the philosophy that every end is a new beginning. Accept that nothing will ever be the same, then D E C I D E  that this could be a good thing.

In fact, get excited and choose to feel confident that it will be a good thing. Your WILL is powerful. If you WILL something into being it's very doubtful that it will not manifest. If you maintain a steady focus and will power on the same thing you wish to experience or create it will eventually manifest in your physical reality.

Be  C O M P A S S I O N A T E  with yourself as you shift your mindset and navigate change. It takes time to master these skills, and there is always something more to learn. Don't be in a hurry, you're always right where you need to be, right now.
